5 + a Day and Animal Art

What a great week we've had in Room 1! On Wednesday we decided to do some animal art in the afternoon and are so proud of the finished product. We tried really hard to get our proportions right and to make our puppies exciting to look at. Room 1 have also been focusing on the topic of 5 +  a Day and the importance of eating a well balanced diet. As part of our unit we made fruit kebabs today with Room 0. While we were making them we also did some art using oil pastels to create a beautiful fruit bowl for our classroom. Here are some photos for you to enjoy:

    Wow - I love your pictures of dogs Room 1. You did a great job getting all the parts in the right places. And also your fruit bowl looks so amazing - I just want to reach into the picture and eat all the fruit.
