Room 1 have had a fantastic start to Term 2 with lots of exciting activities taking place already.
At the moment we are learning about temperature and time in mathematics. Here are some photos of us ordering water of different temperatures:
These are our temperature charts!
In this photo, we are finding the hottest and coldest places in the classroom by seeing which group's ice melts the fastest.
Last week we also did lots of preparation for ANZAC Day. We had a special visit from Lt. Col. Kent Collard who gave a meaningful presentation and brought in gear for us to have a closer look at. We even got to try some food samples from the Rat Pack!
We have been lucky to have some good weather over the past two weeks which means that lots of fun is being had during lunchtimes. Here are some photos of the stilt champions in Room 1:
Finally, we had our walkathon yesterday which was a huge success! Thank you so much to all the parent helpers and to Monique (Hannah's Mum) for the lovely photographs. I thoroughly enjoyed the quality time I got to spend with the children in Room 1 and look forward to many more exciting events coming up this Term.

Lovely photos, it is wonderful for her family in the UK to be able to see Isabella participating in all her school activities. Thank you.
